Please use this form to apply for the following membership types: Ordinary, Reciprocity, Associate and Associate (Undergraduate). More information can be found about these Membership Types can be found .

If you are based at a UK Mathematics Department and need a proposer and/or seconder, you can find your 新澳开奖Representative .

Please note we do not ask for membership fees at the time of application but we will send you a subscription form for new members after the next date of election, which is on 22 November 2024 at the 新澳开奖Annual General Meeting 2024 at the BMA House, London. Details of membership fees can be found here.

Elections to membership will next take place at the 新澳开奖Annual General Meeting 2024 at the BMA House, London on 22 November 2024 (and details of this meeting can be found here). For your application to be included, please complete and submit your application form by 19 November 2024.

Proposer
The 新澳开奖requires candidates for Ordinary, Associate and Associate (undergraduate) Membership to be proposed and seconded by members of the Society.

Ideally your nominated proposer should be your head of department or 新澳开奖representative (if you are attached to a UK university, you can find your 新澳开奖Representative here), or another 新澳开奖member who knows you personally.

An applicant whose Head of Department or 新澳开奖Rep is not a 新澳开奖member or who otherwise has difficulty in finding a proposer should enter "新澳开奖Officer" and a brief note under "How long has she/he known you?" to confirm that they are happy for their application to be reviewed by an 新澳开奖Officer. Your application form will then be forwarded to an 新澳开奖Officer for review.

Seconder
The 新澳开奖requires candidates for Ordinary, Associate and Associate (undergraduate) Membership to be proposed and seconded by members of the Society. Ideally your nominated seconder should be another 新澳开奖member who knows you personally.

If your proposer is your head of department or 新澳开奖representative (if you are attached to a UK university) and you are happy for your application to be reviewed by an 新澳开奖Officer, please enter "新澳开奖Officer" and a brief note under "Knowledge of Candidate" that you are happy for the application to be reviewed by an 新澳开奖Officer.

If you are unable to find a seconder, please enter "新澳开奖Officer" and a brief note under "Knowledge of Candidate" that you are happy for the application to be reviewed by an 新澳开奖Officer.

Where the seconder is listed as "新澳开奖Officer", your form will be forwarded to an 新澳开奖Officer to act as seconder.
